Training
I am an experienced trainer and group facilitator with a special interest in the professional and personal development of women. The design of my workshops incorporates my business and management knowledge as well as my counselling skills to help women business owners, leaders and managers work in more confident, focused and creative ways.
For me, women's professional training is about acknowledging the difference between the way in which women and men operate in the workplace. When developing our skills, it's useful to ring the gender differences that shape our behaviour - whether it be delegating work, putting ourselves forward for promotion, charging what we're worth, juggling childcare or managing the housework. If women ape men in the workplace, they risk cutting themselves off from their intuition and natural style - hindering the progression of a career that will serve them well or their ability to grow their businesses in line with who they are as people.
Although it deepens our understanding to consider gender difference generally, my number one priority is to help women to focus on their individual personality and learning style, strengths and weaknesses, likes and dislikes. My aim as a group leader is to create an open, safe environment to stimulate discussion, share experiences, accept ourselves as being the wonderful individuals we are - before learning new skills to enhance what we do well and find ways to manage more productively, the things that challenge us.
Behind successful women is a supportive sisterhood. Women's workshops are also a great way to network, link up and learn with others who share similar visions and goals. Whether you are a sole trader, small business or an organisation wanting to develop your employees, you can call me on 01707 870837 or email info@sarahhart.com to discuss your needs.
